The 2010 Ram Heavy Duty trucks are completely new for 2010. Building upon the proven strengths of the past while improving with new features, technology, and refinements going forward to the future.
The all-new Heavy Duty trucks offer two engine options on the 2500 models; the legendary 5.7L Hemi V8 that produces 383hp and 400lb-ft of torque and the proven Cummins turbo diesel which produces 350hp and a whopping 650ft-lbs of torque at only 1500 rpms. The 3500 model is the only heavy duty truck to offer the diesel engine as standard equipment.
With all of the power it packs, industry exclusive diesel exhaust brake, and available integrated brake controller, the new Heavy Duty can tow up to 17,600 lbs and carry a payload up to 5,130lbs.(when properly equipped)
