Not long ago, there was almost a stigma attached to minivans. Then Chrysler introduced the Pacifica, and things have changed considerably. The Chrysler Pacifica is the most-awarded minivan of 2016 and 2017, and for good reason. Several, actually. With an interior that was clearly designed with parents' priorities and needs top-of-mind, and loaded with standard features, the Pacifica offers all that today's busy families need.

That interior accommodates either seven or eight people, depending on how you configure the second-row seating. One of our favorite features is the considerate Stow 'n Go seats, which allow you to easily fold the seats into the floor in order to enlarge the van's cargo capacity. Power-folding third-row seats and a hands-free power tailgate also are convenient features that parents appreciate, as is the available built-in vacuum cleaner.

The Uconnect infotainment system features a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth® streaming, a USB port, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, so front-row occupants have ample entertainment options. For long family road trips, the 10-inch rear-seat touchscreens are invaluable, especially since they can be synced to show the same content, or deliver different entertainment experiences to feuding siblings.

Of course, there's no good that comes from having a minivan that can't deliver performance when you need it. Fortunately, the Pacifica comes with a standard V6 engine that teams with a nine-speed automatic transmission to produce 287 horsepower and the acceleration and power that you need during your daily drives. Responsive steering makes the Pacifica surprisingly nimble, and you can expect to get up to 28 mpg on the open highway -- features you don't typically expect of a minivan.

If you're interested in exploring the Pacifica minivan in person, visit our Chrysler showroom at 8562 Ocean Gateway in Easton. We're conveniently located in central Maryland, an easy drive from the Annapolis, Denton, and Cambridge areas.
